Another sign that Google search is piss-poor these days: if I search for the exact phrase “tennis is coming home” within the last 24 hours, Google insists that only three websites have said that, even though England just beat France 6 4 in the World Cup bronze medal game, and surely everybody must have been saying something like that.

Last week, Dutch electricity transmission system operator TenneT published the yearly update on security of supply. It doesn't look good, with more hours of shortages coming up as soon as 2030. More dispatchable (gas) power plants would be needed to prevent that.

I lost a few posts from the past 24 hours but, learning. Right?
Off to re-apply the v4.6 update and then do ANOTHER backup so I at least don't have to do that again next time.

Things have been pretty quiet in my Minneapolis channels for the last few hours. Looks like this morning was a coordinated sudden strike. Everyone is now vigilant for the next thing, but we don’t know if it’s coming in an hour or a week or a month.
