I know there are a few complaints about tabs opened via Ctrl Click from a tab in a stack, jumping out of the stack in Vivaldi 8.0. We have a fix being tested.
If you want a stable stream build with the fix to try it early, there are links to 8.0.4033.34 at the end of this snapshot blog post (after the snapshot links 8.0.4033.32)

I'm switching from #macOS to Linux. So far keyboard shortcuts are the hardest obstacle. Muscle memory refuses to change, so I work like I've seen a keyboard for the first time yesterday.
Lack of separate Ctrl & Cmd seems like a deeper problem than just doing things differently. It halves available keyboard combos. It turns out I've been using lots more than just Cmd C vs Ctrl…

In general the first day on Bluefin was pretty nice. The approach is way different, and tweaking requires jumping through hoops. Interestingly enough hardly anyone of endusers like to tweak. But the rest 'just works'. In that sense Aeon is possibly better suited, what I adjust is very basic. Fresh and kitty were only available (via homebrew) for macOS. Very excited about the new stateful components model in Kitten¹ that I’m looking forward to releasing this week (finally) and the amount of visibility you can now get into the flow of your Kitten apps in the Kitten Interactive Shell (REPL)².
Since the new model is a breaking change (Kitten is prerelease) I’m in the middle of updating our own apps/sites and I still need to document everything. So it will take me a few days to do all that but then I’m very much looking forward to focussi…
