I went to the Winchester Skeptics talk today (basically on how to increase your chances of living a long and healthy life). It was interesting though a tad predictable (lose weight, exercise more, get lots of sleep, statins).
A few things surprised me though in particular how strongly she argued modern HRT (with topical estrogen) was a good thing for nearly all (post-) menopausal women for multiple reasons.
