Germany off track to deliver 2045 climate goal
Germany looks set to overshoot its legally mandated climate targets for 2040 and beyond, with land use plans to create carbon sinks still expected to act as a source of emissions through to 2050.

A new report has found that nearly 80% of datacenters are also exposed to extreme climate hazards
-- including flooding, extreme winds and wildfires.
Those impacts are leaving the infrastructure vulnerable to disrupted operations, increased time offline and inflated insurance and repair costs, the research from climate risk analytics firm First Street shows.
