Byliśmy w weekend na zlocie kamperowym - pod Końskimi. Bardzo fajna atmosfera, super ludzie - poznaliśmy parę Polaków z Niemiec, która przemierzyła w ostatnim roku trasę z ich rodzinnych stron aż pod trójstyk granic Rosja/Korea Północna/Chiny.

Mega inspirujący, dali nam dużo tipów na drogę i sporo rozwiali stereotypów i strachów przed potencjalnym wyjazdem na daleki wschód.

Już w tym sezonie późno, ale no dało nam to do myślenia na kierunek na przyszły rok :D

We prove that the relatively free group of rank $d$ in the variety defined by the group law $w$ has a largest anabelian finite quotient and estimate its size. Here, a finite group is called anabelian if it has only non-abelian composition factors. We report detection and analysis of the largest low-frequency (200 - 231.25 MHz) sample of Crab giant pulses (GPs) reported in the literature. In total about 95000 GPs were detected. The observations were performed in 2024/2025 with the EDA2, a prototype station of the SKA-Low telescope. The fluence distribution of GPs in the entire sample is very well characterised with a single power law (no flattening at higher fluences) N(F) $\propto$ F$^α$, where $α= -3.17\pm0.02$ for all GPs, and $α_{M…

Combining European VLBI Network detections of five repeat bursts, we confirm the FRB's host to be a low-metallicity, star-forming dwarf galaxy at z = 0.12817, analogous to the hosts of FRBs 20121102A, 20190520B and 20240114A.
