@karlauerbach@sfba.socialOur medical insurance system super sucks when hospital staff recommend to the spouse of an ill patient that the spouse seek a divorce in order to avoid huge medical bills.
(I remember when my mother got a hospital statement for well over $200k to cover some of her deceased husband's medical bills incurred while dying at that hospital.)

Manages to be witty and funny without being over the top. Really great characters & dialogue, which reveal deep emotional questions about really living & caring for each other.
