We report the first direct observation of nonlinear resonance island trapping in a fourth-generation light source with working points far from the excited resonance and examine the nonlinear dynamics and properties of the trapped beam. The discovered dynamics of island trapping may help understand bunch purity and halo formation issues, create additional experimental capabilities for photon science applications, and present means of nonlinear characterization of the machine optics.

The Doppler backscattering measurements of $v_\perp \approx E_r/B$ reveal a significant impact of triangularity on the $E_r$ well: In Ohmic, NBI, and ECRH heated discharges, the $E_r$ well and associated $E_r \times B$ shear are stronger in NT-shaped plasmas compared to their positive triangularity (PT) counterpart. We show that Segal's K-theory of symmetric monoidal categorizes can be factored through Waldhausen categories. In particular, given a symmetric monoidal category $C$, we produce a Waldhausen category $Γ(C)$ whose K-theory is weakly equivalent to the Segal K-theory of $C$. We present the first radio--continuum detection of the circumstellar shell around the well-known WN8 type Wolf-Rayet star WR16 at 943.5\,MHz using the \ac{ASKAP} \ac{EMU} survey. At this frequency, the shell has a measured flux density of 72.2$\pm$7.2\,mJy. Using previous \ac{ATCA} measurements at 2.4, 4.8, and 8.64~GHz, as well as the \ac{EMU} observations of the star itself, we determine a spectral index of $α\,=\,+0.74\pm0.02$, indicating thermal emission. Search for millicharged particles in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13.6$ TeV
We report on a search for elementary particles with charges much smaller than the electron charge using a data sample of proton-proton collisions provided by the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2023--24, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 124.7~fb$^{-1}$ at a center-of-mass energy of 13.6~TeV. The analysis presented uses the completed Run 3 milliQan bar detector to set the most stringent constraints to date for particles with charges $\leq0.24~\rm{e}$ and masses $\geq0.45~\rm{GeV}$.

We present results from the Pan-STARRS optical search for kilonovae without the aid of gravitational wave and gamma-ray burst triggers. The search was conducted from 26 October 2019 to 15 December 2022. During this time, we reported 29,740 transients observed by Pan-STARRS to the IAU Transient Name Server.
