Threads has finally launched the ability to send direct messages to everyone. For now, you can only DM users who follow you on Threads or mutual follows on Instagram.

Just added (#)ReplacingMatrix to my profile of course this is minus the E2EE...so in a way maybe this makes it like "Discord"...although it's a slight workaround...
