We introduce Nile-Chat-4B, 3x4B-A6B, and 12B, a collection of LLMs for Egyptian dialect, uniquely designed to understand and generate texts written in both Arabic and Latin scripts. Specifically, with Nile-Chat-3x4B-A6B, we introduce a novel language adaptation approach by leveraging the Branch-Train-MiX strategy to merge script-specialized experts, into a single MoE model. Egyptian fractions for few primes
We study solutions to the Egyptian fractions equation with the prime factors of the denominators constrained to lie in a fixed set of primes. We evaluate the effectiveness of the greedy algorithm in establishing bounds on such solutions. Additionally, we present improved algorithms for generating low-rank solutions and solutions restricted to specific prime sets. Computational results obtained using these algorithms are provided, alongside a discussion on their performance.

In this paper, we define a Grothendieck ring as a fusion ring categorifiable into a fusion category over the complex field. An integral fusion ring is called Drinfeld if all its formal codegrees are integers dividing the global Frobenius--Perron dimension. Every integral Grothendieck ring is necessarily Drinfeld. In January 2024 someone tried to get someone to buy them by putting them up on Facebook Marketplace (yep!) for $15 Million for all three. (98% off original price lol). They were, and likely still are, sitting tied up in Alexandria, Egypt. They were last owned by the Egyptian Government.
At least one of them was essentially unchanged inside since the 1990s. (a Nanaimo Bar for $1.5!)
