The pizzelle maker died after only 10 pizzelle. No idea what happened. Got two more decent ones then two spongy discards.
Grabbed the vafler maker to try to salvage the rest of the batch. Dry chocolate Norwegian waffles were my expectation.
I got oddly puffy pizzelle hearts (roughly four pizzelle to a waffle). Frankly, an experiment I’ve always wanted to try (but I still want my pizzelle maker back).

Saturday at the beach (in FL), saw a (very) fat-tired wheel chair. Not sure this works for self-propulsion, but given the sand, wheels that large seem necessary. Maybe a hovercraft wheelchair (and eelchair!) would also work.

A wheeled chair, I think intended to be pushed by a second person, with enormous front and rear wheels for the sand. All parts look sand-capable -- the seat and back and leg supports are made of a synthetic-looking mesh that could clearly be hosed down to get the sand/salt off of it. The wheels have no obvious/easy way for the chair occupant to push them (but on the sand that might take a LOT of force).

OK, managed to get the top off my dads home built FM radio (forcibly push sideways into the grooves and slide out).
So I think we have top right IF, bottom right tuner and frontend, bottom middle a prescaler for the LCD freq display, bottom left stereo separation/audio amp.

Inside of a home built FM radio receiver. Nice fat torroidal Power transformer, ~4 circuit boards of various sizes and a variety of cables; including a rainbow ribbon going to a bargraph on the front.

Annual Super Ball Sunday pork loin roast in my favorite rugby jersey.
