The Danish independent media organisation @… are on a member drive with 10 promises if they make it to 50,000, including that they'll share more on social media. I can dream they'll make it to the #fediverse I suppose?
In any case their journalism is outstanding and they carefully avoid making an explicit political stance and contributing to polarisation. #UnbreakingNews
In depth journalism you can read or listen to (try deepL if you don't speak Danish), often beautifully produced, always fascinating. They also don't report on problems without reporting solutions.
It's by far the most uplifting read/listen of my day.

Happy to report I eventually found the arm64 port of #mobilizon AND found my own upgrade guide in their forum and @… is effortlessly upgraded to 5.1.5 now with our actual logo and a sensible default image. 😊
Yes, those are tiny noticeables, but it tells us the no-challenger¹ most promising #fediverse Event Org platform² is still alive, and that's good news ☺️

Remember a few weeks ago I made a Facebook account with the intent of only using it for Marketplace because there are no good options around here for selling stuff.
I can happily report that zuck has not sucked me into his algorithm! But that doesn't mean I haven’t noticed his algorithm at work.

holy ____ am I glad to be on Mastodon/Fediverse. And god we are so ____ as long as billions of people are exposed to that place.
And just to be clear... my only activity on there is through Marketplace. I don't have any friends, no groups, nothing else that I think would impact the algorithm. So as far as I know, I'm a virgin user to FB's algorithm. And that's what I got.
