Bin offenbar langsam mit der Erkenntnis, aber merke nun dass einige meiner abonnierten Podcasts sogar neue Folgen haben, aber nur noch exklusiv als Audio-On-Demand auf der #ARDaudiothek-Seite. Argh! Wer denkt sich das aus?
Aber dafür gibt es dieses tolle Tool:

@… was wäre der Worst-Case?
Sure thing, Heggy. But first, we’re going to need a pig and a live TV feed.

I bet a lot of folks (especially on the tech side) have just stopped paying attention to crypto, which is perfectly sane because we all know that it’s bad technology. On the other hand, the finance sector, with MAGA cheerleading, is still wildly enthusiastic. See https://newsletterhunt.com/emails/1894

Reminds me of how Amazon's automated unstaffed stores were actually staffed by people in India watching video feeds and verifying what people bought.

Someday, I want to erase everything and vanish offline, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
I’m sick of being trapped in this endless cycle of digital puppetry and mental sludge, where every click feeds some shallow algorithm designed to keep you hooked and dumbed down, turning people into another batch of screen-zombies chasing cheap hits and empty dopamine hits.
I want out of this rat race of constant noise and manufactured crises, where reality is warped into a carnival…

Going through my feeds this morning, I see a bunch of suspicious, poorly written English reports in Middle Eastern publications that have never shown up on my radar screen before that tell of cyberattacks by variously named Iranian-related "hacktivist" groups.

I finally managed to remove shorts from the #RSS feeds of YouTube channels.
The feed mixes shorts and regular video but thankfully #FreshRSS has an extension that can use the YouTube API to get the extra information it needs.

Ah yes, I really dislike it when, as someone who is autistic, I don’t look before I accidentally block the entire Mastodon.social domain instead of just blocking a specific bot user.
Great, now over 100 lost me in their feeds. My day is ruined.
Domain unblocked, please boost for my visibility again!

Good Morning #Canada
Today is National Geek Day, so expect your social media feeds to be filled with gobbly-gook acronyms and combinations of words that make you select the translate function. There's no scientific measurement of Canadian GPM (Geeks per million), but Canada does have an award winning #Candy called NERDS Gummy Clusters. I have not tried them, but apparently, non-technical people are allowed to consume it as well.

Soon, I’ll be throwing away all my desktop computers as well, though I’m keeping my Lenovo Thinkpad around. I hate computers, yet I use them.
To me, computers are just junk nobody asked for. They’re glowing traps that keep us hooked, scrolling and clicking away our time for endless feeds. No matter the OS or hardware, it’s all distraction from reality.
Yes, Linux can free us and all that, and even the hardware can be part of that freedom. But the computers themselves remain a cir…
