The gist of a conversation I had with one of my oldest friends regarding Alex Pretty and the Ice occupation of Minneapolis. He lives in Las Vegas.
He said that almost overnight their neighborhood had become unlivable, overrun with drugs and cartel activity. His wife can't go to the store without him because it's not safe. His best friend out there died from a fentanyl overdose. So he didn't want to hear any liberal bullshit.
I asked, then why the fuck aren't they …
"As per Trumpian fantasy, the ringleader of the narco-terror operation is none other than Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro himself.
"Never mind that Venezuela has approximately zero to do with drugs entering the US and doesn’t even produce fentanyl."

Critics have compared the offensive to the Iraq war, citing a familiar mix of regime-change rhetoric, security pretexts and oil interests. This month, the Trump administration labeled fentanyl – which it says flows from Venezuela – a “weapon of mass destruction”.
On Monday, Trump suggested oil seized from Venezuela could be treated as a US asset. “Maybe we will sell it, maybe we will keep it... Maybe we’ll use it in the strategic reserves. We’re keeping the ships also.”
