The Research Training Group “Autonomy of Heteronomous Texts in Antiquity and the Middle Ages” (FSU Jena) invites submissions for an international conference to be held in Jena from 14-16 September.The conference addresses one of the central topics of the research group, namely the concept of autonomy and its various manifestations in ancient, medieval, and early modern texts. We invite contributions from (but not limited to) the following fields:

Figured out a cheap trick to blur a smartphone's camera:
1. Cut a piece of transparent adhesive tape.
2. Sandpaper it.
3. Attach on top of the camera.
Wanted to blur instead of covering the camera, because the phone interprets full cover as darkness and dims the screen.

I am still adjusting my software related goal setting to the AI age. I had a list of things I wanted to do for 2026 for my trading management site. I thought it was an easy list, not a stretch by any imagination, but still beefy enough that I figured it will be nice to take care of over the course of this year. Well, all the items on the list are done.... #ai

Like #OCTRANSPO itself, the travel planner is not working. I have been living at my current location for over five years so I KNOW there is a bus just across the street. Just wanted to confirm the start times for tomorrow and then how badly it figured out the transfer point.
Failed in Vivaldi, failed in Chrome so it isn't browser related. Firefox it just barfed.
