Occasionally mastodon servers go down. When they do I wish there was a more clear way to communicate with users.
Recently I thought maybe I should write a script to pull the list of emails from the server so I could occasionally message them. Is that something that would make sense for downtime messages?
What do other #mastoadmin folk do?

One of the favourites from today's#Cambridge #Folk festival - Darlingside, who are always very welcome here. Gorgeous harmonies, and warm vibes. Made me grin from ear to ear.
The Langan Band were also impressive, very rousing and got us all screaming.
A great day.

A band on stage, lit by glowing blue white beams from behind. Mandolin, cello, guitar, bass, electric guitar.

I'm excited because the first full day of the #cambridge folk festival is today!
Bess Atwell, Robin Adams and Nora Brown Stephanie Coleman are on my list. Plus ending stage 1 with Talisk, if my aging knees can take it.

The thing I love about Cambridge is that you can get right up to the stage so easily.

Beth Atwell playing stage one, from pretty close in. She's looking very chill with a lime green semi acoustic and four band members.

The wall of Orcadian fiddle that is Fara, sending waves of smiles across stage 2 at the #Cambridge folk festival.

Three fiddlers on the left, a pianist and double bassist on the right, and drummer behind. All lit with green and purple lights.
