One major advantage with electric lawn mowers is easy incremental mowing. I walk back/forth across my yard a dozen times a day and I'll just push mow a strip each time. It was 3/4 mowed today with no extra time/effort.
Also, since it's so easy to start/stop, on a too-hot day I can mow in 5-10 min bursts and have it mowed without needing a shower afterwards.
