@qurlyjoe@mstdn.socialWe were grocery shopping this morning and when got in the checkout line an old geezer (at least as old as us anyway) sidled up and asked if we’d mind if he payed for our groceries. We said we appreciated his offer, but that there were very likely other people who’d be better targets of his generosity. Another old woman was behind us so we suggested maybe she’d take him up on his offer. She did. He does this every day for a couple weeks this time of year. Just buying 1 person’s food.
