What does it say about a country if the state sees no other way to make a government critic shut his mouth than to assassinate him? What does it say about courage in the civic society if there's no backlash when the henchmen don't just fail miserably, but also let the victim uncover their identities and intimidate them publicly? What does it say about justice if the state then resorts to Soviet-style methods, namely a show trial, Gulag solitary confinement, torture and now execution?…
