Gnu `sort` just fixed my data pipeline problems. Again. (By merging 600 multi-GB files, maintaining lexical ordering, all in ~30 minutes)
I'll never stop appreciating how much plaintext tools that have been around for 40 years or whatever really are indispensable to contemporary data science.
