In one way Harley-Davidson jeans are the exact opposite of Levi's jeans. The watch pocket, commonly used for change for bridge tolls, is on the left, leaving the rider's right hand--their throttle hand--free.

Harley had a 30 minute high intensity romp with the new puppy next door. She mostly held her own despite the 7 year difference in age (human years). But I suspect this might be her spot for the rest of the day.

Another awesome day in #Caledon, mix of sun & cloud and 7°C. We had a special guest on our hike today - this mare came galloping across the field to see us, with particular interest in Harley. Harley heard the hoof beats and ran into the woods. Not the bravest dog we've ever owned.

Just came home after my weekly indoor golf league. Scored 9 under at Teeth Of The Dog (net with a 15 handicap). Checking my score card and rehashing the round with Casper curled up at my side and Harley at the far end of the sofa. They love my golf stories.

Me slouched on the sofa with my feet up on an ottoman and scrolling on my phone. Casper the all white cat is curled up on the arm the sofa and snuggled into my side. Harley the tan coloured dog is curled up at the far end of the sofa.

It's been several weeks since Harley and I have gone for a hike due to crappy weather and a beach vacation (for me, not Harley). Today it was sunny and warm, at 6°C, so we set out to check on the trails. The field we cross to get to the forest was mostly open after a few days of warm weather. The forest bits were snow covered but decent walking after snowmobile use. Saw a deer at a distance crossing a horse paddock. It leaped a 5 foot fence with ease.

Harley showing off her new pedicure. We visited a local pet store that is having a Store Crasher Sale - a year ago this week a jeep went through their front window and demolished 75% of their retail space. They had a deal on nail clipping, and $5.00 of the cost went to a local Animal Shelter. Always support your local small business whenever possible.

Beautiful sunny day and 9°C here in #Caledon. I decided that Harley and I needed to increase our weekly hikes to 2 or 3 times per week. Gotta get in shape for golf season, which should arrive early, and walk courses more often. To be clear, Harley doesn't golf and I'm the one that needs the exercise.
