In general the first day on Bluefin was pretty nice. The approach is way different, and tweaking requires jumping through hoops. Interestingly enough hardly anyone of endusers like to tweak. But the rest 'just works'. In that sense Aeon is possibly better suited, what I adjust is very basic. Fresh and kitty were only available (via homebrew) for macOS. And removing the logout option from the top right hand menu is silly. Although ctrl-alt-del gets you there. A bootc Gnome, with a Cac…

Kitty is helping! 🌾

Speed up video of a farmer scooping up some grains that were drying on some pavement while a black & white kitten lays in it. The farmer starts to scoop everything up in a pile, but the kitty doesn't get up. The comfy cat gets shoveled up and added to the pile two times but never gets up. Such a good assistant!

Oh no 😭

I don't think my cat is used to her automatic feeder yet. Video shows a black cat sniffing an empty automatic feeder bowl from the point of view of the feeder cam. The timer goes off and it starts dispensing food, but not without scaring the void kitty so much she jumps backwards halfway across the room. She pops her head up to watch the machine finish spitting out food, but decides not to eat just yet, lest it attack her. Poor kitty

Giving your human treats can help reenforce good behavior (like leaving the bathroom door open)
