Uff finally I wrote the blogpost for a hike I did in May (and you've probably seen the video of it already). But I haven't shared the #photos ans some more background story from it.
I don't know why but this time I found it really hard to write. Maybe I'm a bit out of practice or I just didn't find the right mood for it - I'm not sure.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy…

Hey, just wanted to share this again. I took it last autumn at one of the last warm weekends.
I want to go to the same place again for a longer walk along a nice ridge. - Anyways, this was a really good day with a nice chat with a fellow hiker and great views.
Enjoy.

I think this might the topic.
I took the photo in early march this year.
The summit wasn't very crowded as it was VERY windy and thus very cold up there. Most people weren't prepared for this much wind and went further down to seek shelter from the wind and sit cozy in the sun.
I dressed up and spend the time exposed to the …

Continents have lost so much water to the ocean since 2002 that they have surpassed ice sheets as the biggest contributor to global sea level rise, a new study reveals.
Almost 70% of this loss is due to unchecked groundwater extraction,
which removes water from deep aquifers and eventually transfers it to the ocean, researchers found.
Together with rising rates of evaporation due to climate change, this has caused rapidly drying "hotspots" to merge into four &quo…

But obviously I was high enough that I already got some nice view into the distance.

I was happy to get a snack and relax my legs a bit. I wasn't alone up there but it wasn't crowded. Well it was just great to be there again.
I think it was just the second time in a decade that I was up there. Even though I can see the summit from my home 🙂

I took this #photo when I thought that I'd be almost there. - Because I had mostly looked about the elevation. But as you might see on the photo, the way flattens a bit towards the summit.

Yesterday I finally wrote the blog post for the bike and hike recently.
