CachyOS is all the rage.
CachyOS is indeed very fast, even on this underpowered Chromebook.
It is also kinda broken.
The installer is so close to unusable (as in, it's a GUI, but the mouse cursor doesn't curse and the display brightness is pegged at minimum and can't be controlled) that I very nearly gave up. Installing Arch on the CLI is far faster.

Alright, got UPS monitoring and info via `nut` on the homelab network. The three Proxmox nodes are all net clients, and I took the fifth RPi4 that wasn't doing anything and tossed Raspbian on it to be the net server. After a bit of configuring: all of the servers are getting the information without issue.
As a bit of a note: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS _does not work_ on ARM64 because [insert reason here]. I think you can compile it yourself and it's fine, but the packages in the repos…

I love the fact that switching out a failing SSD just involved formatting the new SSD, copying the files over via `rsync`, powering off the computer, and swapping the new SSD in for the old one. I did have to make a minor tweak to the `fstab` because I decided to go with XFS, but the down time for the computer was only for as long as it took me to get the SSD swapped in.
