Anyone have a soldering iron recommendation (type/make/model)?
My needs are •small•: occasional minor repair, mostly wire-to-wire soldering, maybe some super-basic PCB stuff in the distant future if I get ambitious. Simple foolproof is better than robust precise.
Whole lot of options out there, and hard to tell which ones are overkill for my needs.
UPDATE: Going with the Pinecil (multiple recommendations, looks right-sized for my needs), and also noting the many Hakko recommendations for more robust needs. Thanks, everyone!

Haven't really done any grading, mostly just the raw images, saved to JPEG on PC and done.
(side-note: Camera can do JPEG conversion in-body but it looks horrible)

I read Bostrom's book SUPERINTELLIGENCE back when I worked at Google —
Blaise A— insisted that it go on the "AI" SF book club reading list
(as an aside: I started the book club; we were mostly reading, uh, cautionary stories)
SUPERINTELLIGENCE is garbage, & I said so: throw around big numbers until your moral calculus has a floating-point overflow & you can be convinced of obviously crazy things
