“The String… will be much faster”

Rural Republicans used to back NPR. Then MAGA changed everything.
Polarized views of public broadcasting,
along with a splintered and increasingly online media environment,
pose a problem for NPR, PBS and their audiences,
who will need some Republicans to break ranks to prevent the cuts that Trump is demanding
as part of a larger package of budget reductions that the House will consider as soon as Tuesday.

Claude Sonnet 4.0 describes the image as: "I can see this appears to be from a science fiction television series, showing someone in what looks like futuristic costume design typical of late 1970s/early 1980s British sci-fi productions. The person is wearing what appears to be a light-colored outfit with darker trim or detailing, and the lighting and film quality are characteristic of that era's television production values. The setting appears to be an interior space, possibly a spacecraft or …

Pixie cat has been dusting behind the wardrobe.
She likes to go round there from time-to-time to check if there are any nesting birds. Because you never know. Ever the optimist.
It's a bit of a squeeze, and she comes out covered in dust. I have yet to determine how she manages to turn around. I suspect she uses a wormhole or something.

I see Starmer is once again taking to the national stage to tell everyone that Reform are correct, that Reform have accurately described the source of the problems of British people.
Telling everyone that migrants are a problem, that migrants are causing trouble, that migrants need to be cracked down upon.
And then he somehow thinks this will make people more likely to vote Labour?
It's basically a massive country wide national advertising campaign for Reform.
Well done Labour. When you lose it will be your own fault.

Los Angeleno checking in. I've seen 2 protests... maybe 200 people? But none of this warrants the National Guard... much less the Marines.
And the media broadcasts are absurd. Same Waymo images over & over & over again. 😕
