A couple of days ago I posted a picture of a juvenile five lined skink, known for their contrasting bright cobalt tail.
Today I saw the largest adult I’ve ever seen. Wikipedia says they can be “about 12.5 to 21.5 centimetres (4.9 to 8.5 in) total length (including tail)” and buddy here is every bit of that 8.5 inches.

A brownish colored adult five lined skink is resting on a wooden surface, surrounded by green foliage and scattered leaves. It has five lines that run the length of its body in a lighter almost yellow color.
