Yeesh, combined with a few meetings my brain feels like mush. Opened up MSc dissertations to mark and was like, "nope". Need to build up that teaching semester stamina again.

Education, local industry, strengthening the local economies seem like things worth fostering everywhere.
Not a simple problem to solve, but the status quo seems to be remarkably unsuccessful.
