These are the photos for my 2026 calendar. Got the proofs today. Should have the hard copies in 2 weeks. Always agonizing to pick 13 of my photos for the next one. The last few years I’ve had to use older ones too. I don’t get out to shoot as much anymore. I’m hoping that will improve. I’ve volunteered to be a photographer for the city park dept. I’ll take pics of people engaged in the parks and activities, and whatever else I see.

Occasionally, I log into LinkedIn purely to check messages. Sometimes, I find a promoted message or an ad, maybe a connection request. Usually, nothing. Content often feel fake, and it's often difficult to find content that I'm interested in there. Is it even a site for businesses to connect, and people find work any more?
Back when it wasn't owned by Meta, I used to enjoy Instagram. Now it feels like a shop. I still miss scrolling through the feed, discovering content from the people that I followed. Sadly, a lot of creators that I liked are still on there, and nowhere else.
Mastodon is pretty much my only online home now, and I'm very thankful for it!

Estou jogando um joguinho em que você por vezes precisa utilizar gšs sonífero para capturar alienígenas vivos e assim obter informações sobre eles e tal. Mas eu até agora não entendi direito a dinâmica desses gases. Como resultado disso, meu soldado acabou de cair inconsciente por conta do gšs sonífero que ele mesmo espalhou no campo de batalha rs.

Anyone else here got the phenomenon that their iPhone seems to reboot while charging over night on iOS 26? Since a few days I wake up to an iPhone (12 Pro Max) that has its SIM locked. That seems to indicate a reboot.
