To be honest, after I learnt to take the "it's actually all getting better" narratives with a grain of salt, I decided not to buy into the Pinker hype. So, I'm not disappointed.

I just played through "The Gap (2023)" and watched "We Live in Time (2024)" so inadvertently had a double bill of non-linear narratives following a relationship in which one person has a, potentially fatal, medical condition.
