Now i have to figure out what's next. First step will be dissolving a bit in water and using sodium chloride to precipitate silver chloride, which is what the formula I'm using calls for.
But i need to filter this out from the resulting aqueous sodium nitrate solution on a very small scale (sub gram) without losing much by sticking to filter paper etc. and do all of this in subdued light to avoid photodegradation

Anybody know if ammonium fluoride in a neutral pH environment (i.e. without adding HF or additional acid to effectively form HF in solution from H and F- ions) will attack silicon dioxide or nitride at any appreciable rate?
