OK so... Silver nitrate, sodium chloride, and potassium bitartrate are all here.
First step will be conversion of silver nitrate to chloride. I have 25 grams but don't want to use too much at a time so I'll do 500 mg for the first run.
That's 2.95 mmol of silver nitrate so I need 172 mg of sodium chloride to be stoichiometric. But to ensure a 100% conversion of the expensive silver salt I'll add an excess, aiming for around 250 mg.
The reaction is 1:1 so a p…

Silver nitrate and other stuff got here.
Now i have to figure out what's next. First step will be dissolving a bit in water and using sodium chloride to precipitate silver chloride, which is what the formula I'm using calls for.
But i need to filter this out from the resulting aqueous sodium nitrate solution on a very small scale (sub gram) without losing much by sticking to filter paper etc. and do all of this in subdued light to avoid photodegradation
