I updated my tool to batch-delete Mastodon bookmarks to also store JSON backups of the deleted bookmarks. For each one it now writes a JSON file with the post ID, account ID, creation date and HTML content. If there's interest I might also update it to fetch & backup linked media.
The script can be configured to adjust the threshold date (only older bookmarks are removed). It also allows setting protected accounts and hashtags.
