So this is weird; I picked up a new Bluetooth adapter so I could better test Meshtastic devices and my AAC-only Bluetooth headphones just work with it.
Maybe the root of my issue was just an incompatible radio, though I wouldn't have expected that to make a difference.... I dunno.
Also I think I may try to do a video of the configuration and installation of my next radio, though it'll be a couple weeks for it to be delivered.
Bonus points if I can figure out how the…

Continuing on my Meshtastic kick, (probably because I keep buying radios to play with...) This time I have a configuration guide for common settings I've found which are useful. Still a work in progress but I think most of the common options are there.
If I've forgotten something, gotten something wrong, or you have a trick I should add, let me know!

Just finished my write-up of the Heltec Lora 32 #Meshtastic #Arduino device. I think I got all the basics covered, but if I forgot something, feel free to let me know! Tried to include all the relevant details of this device and the tech along with the steps I had to do …

Holy crap, still just rocking the default antenna on this #meshtastic radio, but somehow picked up a signal in Greensburg while in White Oak #PA!

All this talk of peer-to-peer texting via bluetooth with bitch at pushed me over the ledge; finally pulled the trigger to pick up some LoRA devices and installed Meshtastic on them.

Finished my write-up on my 3d printed case for my Heltec Meshtastic LoRa radio. Supports a GPS antenna, temperature/humidity/pressure sensor, switch, and a 3Ah battery tucked under everything.
Article has the downloadable print along with source FreeCAD file, all assembly details, wiring schematic, and parts list for folks who want to build their own!

Finished my review and configuration guide of the Lilygo T-Deck Plus Meshtastic / LoRa radio. (This time with specs!)
All-in-all it's an interesting device, though the lack of a functional bluetooth radio while it's active is a real limiting factor in my use case, (as a personal radio that I can also use to remote admin other radios).
Anyway, see the full article if you're interested in more details; boosts/shares/comments are always welcome!

Back to my issues with my Heltec V3 not accepting to firmware to new versions, got the work I did to resolve the issue published for folks who have the same issue in the future. In short USB directly to 5v, GND, GPIO19, and GPIO20 accesses the JTAG directly.
If you have the same problem and it helps you, let me know!

Grrrr, I'm getting rather frustrated with this #Heltec #Meshtastic build. I printed one case which fits the module and battery but doesn't support the environmental sensor or GPS module.
Grabbed another case and got it printed which fits the GPS module and en…
