Every few years I go and dig out a 65-line C program that I wrote as a grad student and try to gently poke it through a compiler but I finally got tired of that and replaced it with a 10-line awk script.
Wow, take a look at this jalopy! Written ca. 1977 (with ed(1), the standard editor) on a PDP-11/45 running V7, prob'ly on an ADM-3A "glass terminal" in the terminal room on the second floor of the E-Quad.

The best microcontroller thing I did last year was build this little kit that fits in a 3D printed rugged box and covers close to 90% of things I need to deal with for the products I sell & support.
I can easily throw it in my bag when I'm on the road, otherwise it sits on my desk where I can quickly grab it to test something.

Finished my write-up on my 3d printed case for my Heltec Meshtastic LoRa radio. Supports a GPS antenna, temperature/humidity/pressure sensor, switch, and a 3Ah battery tucked under everything.
Article has the downloadable print along with source FreeCAD file, all assembly details, wiring schematic, and parts list for folks who want to build their own!
