Ship $1 billion of Chinese goods straight to an American port, and the duty can run to several hundred million dollars.
Send the identical goods through Vietnam, Malaysia or Thailand, and most of that bill disappears.
Send them through Mexico wearing U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement paperwork that they have not earned, and the bill can disappear entirely.

The Night Jazz Fought Back - by Bret Primack
Jazz has always carried this tension inside it. Music built under conditions of exclusion and exploitation, transformed into something that outlasted both. At Newport in 1960, for a few days in someone’s backyard, musicians refused to let the institutions that packaged their work decide what they would play. They asserted control. They played like the music belonged to them.
How that mind works.
- I see the documentary This Is Pop about XTC mentioned on the Tubes and rewatch about half an hour of it
- The Bay of Pirates provides me with the full discography in flac of XTC (the original LP's have been dumped by my ex-beloved 😆 ).
- Nixpkgs has a player called Harmonoid, which plays from network locations also.

To reduce the amount of spam sent to Gmail, this 550-5.7.1 message has been blocked. For more information," and then a link basically telling you to go fuck yourself.
