I had a narrow change of trains. Most of the way, my train arrived before schedule.
Just ahead of Poznań, we had to pass a delayed InterCity through, and we ended up arriving with delay, so I ran for the change.
It turned out that I ran unnecessarily, since the change was delayed as well, because of another delayed InterCity. Then it caught even more delay, for other reasons.
When I finally arrived home, I had to wait in front of the railroad crossing… for the next train from Poznań. So, I've effectively saved something around 30 seconds by taking the earlier train, but ended up standing an extra minute in the rain.
I'm a master of planning.
