...and since I'm thinking about virtual copresent communities...does anyone remember #Sloodle ? I actually built a Buddhist monastery in Second Life, together with students, back in 2009. Slodle was a cool integration that linked a Moodle platform to virtual objects in SL.
We only had 10-vow sangha, but my goodness, SL was a hungry ghost realm! I did find going for alms provoked griefing....…
