Thought I just had: Communism (at least as practiced in the Soviet era) won't ever work because...
People aren't selfless enough to go get a measles shot or wear a mask in public when they are sick or not litter their cigarette butts everywhere. If they can't do those little things to help society, what would make you think they'd work without a pay incentive?
