The IRS open sourced much of its incredibly popular Direct File software as the future of the free tax filing program is at risk of being killed by Intuit’s lobbyists and Donald Trump’s megabill.
Meanwhile, several top developers who worked on the software have left the government and joined a project to explore the “future of tax filing” in the private sector

The text I have conveys the •meaning• of the diagram, and it’s better than nothing:
❝Three different trees showing possible interpretations of 1000 - 100 - 10 - 1. In the first tree, subtraction happens from left to right. In the second tree, it happens from right to left. In the third tree, we first compute 1000 minus 100, then 10 minus 1, then subtract those two results.❞
That’s probably the best I can do in the current format. But if there were a way to make convey more of the spatial sense, I’d do it!

Got root?
I figured this spider plant would be a bit rootbound after 3 years in the same container, but I wasn't expecting _this_! Poor thing has been detangled some and potted up. Snipped off 9 babies and stuck them in the greenhouse while I was at it, to give away later in the year, because everyone needs more spider plants.

If you think through in more detail about operation Spiderweb’s drone attack on Russia. Extreme vulnerabilities are evident for Russia but also for any european country or military. Remember that Ukraine used local (!) phone networks for guidance, with pilots remotely in Ukraine apparently.
