I'm exploring Irish census data to try to understand more about one-off "rural" housing, and have accidentally discovered that the most densely-populated small-area in Ireland is in Limerick's Dock Rd, where 255 people live in apartments with a ground area of 2,500m2.
One-off houses in the country are typically on "half-acre" plots, i.e., 2,000m2.
