Guten Morgen,
heute ein bewölkter Sonntag. Mal gemütlich zuhause bleiben und dem gefühlten Zugzwang etwas machen zu müssen, einfach nicht nachgeben :-)
Also erst einmal gut frühstäcken, denn nur ausreichend gestärkt läßt sich die Zeit auf dem Sofa ohne Grummelattacken des Bauchs überstehen. Nicht, daß der beim Lesen stört :-).

One of the TVs at a local Burger King has had a problem for at least 4 years now. It shows skin tones in blue as if it‘s a broken or swapped video cable.
It feels so like being in a time bubble from back when YCbCr cables were common. And it’s cool because the neverending loop of music videos looks like a live stream from another planet.

Special evening.
Bruce and Charley cats (brother and sister) groom each other before meals and are sometimes close to each other outdoors, but basically spend the rest of their time indoors in separate rooms or chasing and swiping each other.
As kittens, they curled up together, but that hasn't happened for a long time now.
Tonight, for the first time in at least 6 years, wife and I were on the sofa with both cats beside us. No hissing, lots of purring, and it was magic…

Five good things instead of three today:
1. Passed mid term project review with flying colours, technical officer proclaimed himself "impressed" (phew).
2. Visited super cool facility at DTU and learned a lot about measuring sunlight. Hopefully the start of some interesting new collaborations
3. Took my 2 wonderful teens out for vegan hotpot dinner in Vesterbro to celebrate end of their exams.
4. Lay out in garden listening to the blackbirds and identified 5 separate bee species within 10 mins
5. Tea and TV on the sofa with aforementioned teens just relaxing.
Perfect day really.

Tails about to investigate my dad's running bag of garden detritus for the tip. This is our winter seating area which at one point was valuable personal space but which has now been taken over by teenage boys and become a bit of a mess. I'll wave my magic wand and have it nice again by this winter. The vines are going great guns from the sickly plants I brought home from ASDA a couple of years ago.

Went to Small World Spring Festival in Hedcorn Kent last weekend.
It was very hot.
It's been hot since. Barely done anything other than sleep on the sofa all week.
Spent most of it lolling in the shade with a battery fan barely able to pay attention to the musicians somehow managing to jump about in the heat.
The campervan wallpaper I put up did as I predicted and fell down quite a lot. Had the gorilla glue ready to try and patch it as it fell. The vinyl wallpaper is probably a mistake. The heat swings are too intense. It swells and the glue fails.
Stands more chance of staying up in future, but is way more creased and shoddy looking.
Still, it's form and function other than that are now as good as it's gonna get in a van that size. The mini-fridge isn't worth it. Coolbox just fine.
Love small world though. Proper hippy festival. Mostly solar powered and punk and ska and folk and jazz and that whole stage just for jamming.
Will likely be back there for the end of summer one. Nice that they start and open the summer.
