Yesterday managed to see at least a half dozen bands for #Kenmore Porchfest (#Buffalo). I only remembered to take one pic (at this RAtM cover band, Anger Is a Gift). They did a great job and the hosts had a cooler of water for everyone.
Kudos to everyone involved in the day.

A small front yard with a smaller tent failing to cover a four-piece band as a crowd extends down a few houses and well into the street. People are standing, sitting in camp chairs, lying on grass, chatting, and generally enjoying the sun and music.

I love how the “#ColeValley Town Square” pop-up turns Carl St. into a relaxed oasis. It’s a great proof-of-concept for permanently closing the street where the #NJudah emerges from the Sunset Tunnel (and extending the footprint of Gamble Memorial Park).

Photograph of an urban street closed to traffic and outfitted with hundreds of potted plants and trees, yellow cafe tables and chairs, and physical playthings including #HulaHoop rings and giant #Tetris blocks. Several people are seated or hula hooping in clear and dappled sunlight, while a light rail train is partially visible in the background behind the parklet.

Hey, it’s Monday again. That means we are hosting Tech Pizza Monday again! Same place (Victory Cafe, 440 Bloor St. W.), same time (6 PM), same…actually, the menu changed recently, so the pizza is different than it has been in the past.
Word on the street is that there will definitely be a hardware demo. Cool, right?

This year, there appear to be even more fireworks on my street. Which seems weird given both the tariffs and the fact these are a Chinese invention which are made in China, and the folks setting them off around here are very much ‘America first’.
Because the folks setting them off don’t seem to care about their neighbors nor neighbors’ dogs.
