teXquarium: a glass wardrobe for the neighbourhood - "Contributing to Zurich's future"
What should be created? A (transparent) textile cube for collecting (old) textiles: from the neighbourhood for the neighbourhood. The transparency of the collector's item makes it clear to everyone how big the mountain of clothes that is disposed of every day is. We sort, weigh, repair and record the clothes and pass them on to neighbourhood residents, second-hand shops, social institutions, textile recycling or, if not otherwise possible, for disposal.
