Just explaining to our dev team that it's okay that we talk about a lot of technical debt and not to be disheartened by it. We will always recognise technical debt because we are always growing our skills.
The moment we don't see any, it's because we have stopped growing...

Hot take: any software that is deployed through Docker can avoid it, and in most cases, deploying software through Docker is purely a sign of unmitigated technical debt.

Or maybe it’s fine as it is. Plenty of people can fix old computers and just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s bad or broken.
Btw, modern storage media like hard disks and SSD fail all the time and have a much shorter life expectancy than floppy disks.
