I'm helping a friend with a Windows notebook with full drive dig out of the hole.
Deleted a few megs of files to solve immediate problem (you almost can't do anything without a little scratch space).
Uninstalled two apps at 600 MB total, but then watched that new free space plumet rapidly to almost nothing. Too many modern apps that auto-update without notice or permission. 😡
Turned on "metered connection" to pause updates on some of them.

Do programmers have the equivalent of color coded notebooks for subjects in school but for their code syntax highlighting?
I mean like :
- blue for maths
- green for science
- yellow for music
- red for language
(any other notebook colors are simply wrong)

I sometimes get a wild hair to buy a ~$150 Chromebook or Win notebook, probably to run Linux, as a 2026 version of the #iOpener. Then I remember the junk I've bought but didn't really use:

Does someone have any pointers for a crashing system?
I suspect that it is related to the GPU, especially under heavy load.
It is an Intel Xe GPU in a Dell Latitude 7450 notebook.

A lot of the analytical work I do really adapts well to #Jupyter Notebooks. It's very helpful to organize the code into logical chunks, one chunk per cell.
