“over on x the everything app some Chicago high school kid named Danny Spud tried to disrupt his school's anti-ICE protest by yelling about how much he loves ICE and then filmed himself getting walloped by a fellow student lmao
the quote tweet making fun of him has 3x the likes”
I’ll post the video next.
i’m not totally 💯 it’s not staged, but either way, remeber;
violence isn’t THE answer
But it su…

danny's original tweet which reads, Today, students at my high school in Chicago held an Anti-ICE protest.

I was the only one that decided to hold a sign that said ‘I Love ICE’.

Instead of allowing me to express my opinion, I was assaulted — Just for standing up for law enforcement.

What is happening to America?

there is a 47 second video that sees multiple other kids talk smack to him and one of them just lays into him physically
a quote tweet that has transcription from the video. the tweet reads:“You’re gonna punch me?”
“Yeah”
“Then you’re gonna in trouble for that”
“Okay”

Followed by this frame is one of the hardest things I’ve seen on the internet this week.

the frame in question is the kid winding up for a punch. it looks exactly like the pepe punching meme

English Alt Text:
A black and white photo showing a worn tiled floor with streaks and discoloration. At the top of the image, a white chair with a woven seat and backrest sits beside two round tables with metal legs. The setting appears to be a patio or semi-outdoor café area. The contrast between the aged flooring and clean furniture creates a visually textured composition.

A black and white photo of an urban interior space, possibly an art studio. A simple black chair sits against a wall. To its right leans a textured canvas with abstract paint and plaster. Behind them, large glass windows are covered in graffiti—words like “Seven,” stylized eyes, hearts, and hands. A sign on the window reads “UZE Studio” in English and Chinese, with a QR code. The floor is worn and stained. On a raised platform to the right, black plastic b…

I wonder why Oregon ash isn't an approved street tree in San Francisco. Despite the name, its native range includes the city.
Maybe it's because it's native to riparian corridors, so needs summer water even in maturity? Another reason to daylight creeks and plant some along the creeks!

While the rest of you are watching the academy awards I thought I'd mention the best thing I saw last year...

It was magic - unlike most plays in which the characters more forward in time, here time floated, often backwards.
The closest I can think of how I felt while watching was of a wonderful performance of Under Mil…
