I helped out at the Family Bike Ride this morning in Cambridge/Boston. Turns out probably the most helpful think I did, was to load all the cones onto the trailer on my bike, and haul them to the organizer's home -- for him, it is two trips, for me, just one (though it was darn heavy, but I have e-assist on that bike, and in a pinch, legs).

A big dummy bicycle with trailer attached, next to five stacks of Awareness Cones, to be loaded onto the trailer. The bike is pointed wrong-way in the bike lane on the Washington Street Bridge over the Charles River in Boston. It got moved before loading, but the bike lane is also not busy.

Open Banking VRP (variable recurring payments), the API expected to supplant Direct Debit, is now being referred to as "Bank on File".
(I think I experienced a moment of metaphoric reversal when I pictured this as a series of physical filing cabinets a la Gilliam's Brazil.)

I'm somewhat proud of this. A few years ago I bought this trailer, specifically choosing the width because it could carry a typical snowblower. This is how I load a snowblower onto the trailer, all by myself, with no need to run the snowblower up a ramp.
