FFS, this smacks of "whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine, but it would **cost us money** to do things **the right way**, why do you hate games makers?":
Yes, I signed the UK petition. Bloody Brexit means I can't sign the EU one.

I had an air filter attached to the rear of my #Kombi, and then I realized that I couldn't shift. One of the cords that I had used to secure the hepa filter was on the derailleur. It was an easy thing to fix, but it reminded me just how much I hate derailleurs (and any kind of external gears in general).

The rear of a blue Kombi mid-tail cargo bike. Along the rear right side boards at the bottom, a white air filter unit (Coway 200M) is bungeed to the side of the bike. The bottom half of a kid is also visible, sitting on the rear rack, her leg over the air filter, a hand on the ring to hold on.
Another shot of the rear of the Kombi. This time you can see more of the blue frame, and both sides of the back. The white air filter is still on the right side of the bike, and on the left side a black Orlieb bag is attached. A child's legs are slung over both things.

"I hate [politician on my side not doing what I want], they need to go!"
You can blame people you basically agree with, or you can work with the people available to try to work toward better.
1st feels good for maybe 5 minutes, then ruins improvement right now, the 2nd has a chance to make things better.
Try to take your anger, your resentment, which I share, to those chiefly responsible for problems, and not to those nearest and ablest to help, even if not as fla…

Really not a fan of this watch. I sort of hate it a bit. I knew I wouldn't like it before I bought it. I actually bought it mainly to check on some things and see how #Skmei is progressing in certain areas. However even with my low expectations it is disappointing.

Skmei digital watch, square in shape. Above the main dial are two animated LCD spinners and a tiny LCD map.

Wave your flags and waive your fate
The freedom you claim is the one you hate
The victory you seek will never come
Brutal views through brutal eyes
See no future, hear no lies
Speak no truth to me or the people I love
When I grow up I want to be
All the things you've never been
And your opinion will count for none <-- #StyleCouncilForevah

One of the most fascinating but underexamined things is how "gamers" hate "AI". Because a lot of them don't seem to care about exploitation/crunch if it gets them their favourite game for example (some do of course).
But that's a big group of people and I wonder how prominent "AI" refusal is and what the reasons are. Does anybody know a study?

I'm trying PopOS on a second PC and there's some things I love and, all the things I hate about it have to do mainly with GNOME.
How come the terminal doesn't have autocomplete?
Why can't I navigate to a smb address by putting it on the file manager?

Here @… gets at something important: programming languages aren’t just a pile of syntax and features. They have context, motivations, idioms, expectations, communities. These things are all interrelated; in fact, they are all •part of the language•. And they are the things a language guide should communicate.

So when the narrow-ass Ballard Bridge sidewalk pops up in 10 Things I Hate About You, do other people loudly boo at the screen? Or is that just me?
