As her first major CBS News town hall draws underwhelming ratings, Bari Weiss gets a public crash course in the metrics of television success. Now, Status has learned she’s delayed a planned address to staffers about the network’s future.

I haven’t tuned into CBS since its morning news promoted that interview (and Weiss) last week. This latest announcement validates my decision.

Following the Bari Weiss-moderated sitdown with Erika Kirk that was a massive ratings flop, CBS News has doubled down on the format and is launching a new town hall series in partnership with Weiss’ “anti-woke” digital media outlet that the network’s parent company recently purchased.

Koons’s T-shirt featured half a rainbow pie, with the slogan:
“Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It’s not pie.”
She said after some discussion,
the RCMP respectfully asked her to leave the town hall,
as well as two other women at the event that were also wearing T-shirts with slogans that some at the event didn’t like.

According to Nielsen, the Saturday night town hall saw a 41 percent decline in in the key 25-54 advertising demographic compared to the network’s standard programming in that time slot year to date.

What's the biggest story in the country today?
It's not Erika Kirk's town hall
but the CBS website already has at least 14 stories on it
and an entire special section on the home page.

Speaking of embarrassing SF politicians, I haven't watched this yet but Lurie-appointed Supervisor Alan Wong reportedly did not come off well here.
(He said he would talk to everyone about Sunset Dunes park/former Great Highway before making a decision, and agreed to this town hall with Sunset Dunes supporters, but then preempted it by announcing he'd try to turn the park back into a highway)
