Normally I strip the tracking links off of articles when I send them to people, but I leave mastodon trackers on there for now (ie, https://[...]&utm_source=press.coop). I figure encouraging news orgs to keep engaging on #mastodon is worth it.

I'm now tracking 404's to my site using Fathom.

I HATE seeing YouTube links knowing that it has tracking tags in the link that then links your account from wherever you clicked it to whatever Google account watches the video after you click it.
Posting YouTube links here without removing everything after the ? Is a massive privacy issue.
