as a security precaution I am now running all Eleventy projects submitted through support channels via a Virtual Machine (Ubuntu on VirtualBox)

#virtualbox freezes when starting up a VM. The host system then hanging at poweroff/reboot... and ultimately ended up kernel panicking after hard-reset.
